On a gorgeously sunny day in March Folio Nomads- Beccy  Rebecca Goddard Photgraphy  + Frances Reel Love Films hosted the most most magical photography + film making workshop. 

Fern Fern Godfrey Weddings styled it to perfection complimenting St Giles House’s perfectly imperfect restoration and it’s pure elegance. It was a dream come true for me to flower this awe inspiring place with such an incredible team! 

My inspiration for the florals was drawn from the house it’s self being so beautifully grand yet not stuffy in any way and that spring was starting to show it’s signs, a little blossom was a must! I knew my wild and luxe flowers would be perfect here. Fern and I discussed textures, colour palettes and the feel we wanted to create- I love working with Fern we just get each other! She understands my crazy sketches + funny words for describing my ideas! 

I am so in love with these shaggy flower towers for the ceremony set up! The eucalyptus gives such a great texture and filled the whole room with a beautiful menthol scent. The golden mustard roses really popped and complimented the colour palette of the room. I also love the tall white delphiniums, so dramatic! And the Cornish grown Daffodils, and the dried grasses and… I could go on + on- can you tell how happy I am about these?! Ha!

And then there’s the Library. Oh my wow- it fulfilled all my Beauty + the Beast dreams! I just wanted to swish up and down the shelves of antique books on the wooden ladder. I adored making these beautiful bowls of blooms too! And love how they married so well with all the beautiful candlesticks, glass + tableware. So stylish! 

Again, I am completely beaming about these too! Is that ok? Even if it’s partly your won work?! Ha, I’m owning it!

I can’t share too many pictures today as we’re waiting for a feature on an awesome wedding blog but I will be doing a spotlight blog on each photographer and  Frances STUNNING film on further blog posts!
